Director General, IDSA, Dr Arvind Gupta attended a Roundtable with the Afghan Foreign Minister, Mr Zalmay Rassoul, on May 1, 2012. The Roundtable was organised by the Delhi Policy Group. A detailed briefing was provided by the Afghan Foreign Minister on Indo-Afghan relations and the US-Afghanistan Strategic Partnership concluded recently. Others present in the Roundtable were the Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan, along with several other strategic affairs experts.

Dr Uttam Sinha, Research Fellow, IDSA, attended the 4th and final meeting on Water Resource Security, organised by the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific (CSCAP) in Chiang Rai, Thailand on April 30, 2012.

Research Fellow, IDSA, Dr Uttam Sinha visited the Environment Policy Research Centre, Freie University, Berlin, to discuss German-India Sustainability and Climate Change Dialogue on April 19, 2012.

Research Fellow, IDSA, Dr Uttam Sinha, who is currently on a visit to Berlin and Munich, from April 16-20, 2012, discussed climate and water issues at the Federal Ministry of Environment in Berlin, on April 19 2012. Dr Sinha is visiting Germany as a part of an Indian delegation on ‘Climate Change and Water Resources’. The visit has been organized by the Hanns Siedel Foundation.
