Environmental Security is ‘Must’ vis-a-vis Military Security, Not a ‘Substitution’

To start with, the notion of the Army Techniques Publication (2015) believes that ‘The primary mission of the military is to fight and win wars. Warfare is destructive to humans and to natural environment’.Footnote1 Indeed, the ‘scorched-Earth’ tactics has been known and used for millennia, and is still used for example in Gaza, as a war means to defeat your enemy if needed by destroying the enemy’s environment, eliminating his crops and forcing him to starve.
