The Heyl H’Avar Israel (HHAI) or the Israeli Air Force is one of the most remarkable air arms in the world today. In size it is out-numbered four times by the air forces of its immediate adversaries. In the 1967 War, the HHAI destroyed the combined air forces of Egypt, Syria, and Jordan within a few hours, enabling the Israeli Army to defeat the combined armies of these three countries in six days. In so doing, the HHAI wrote for itself a chapter of achievement unparalleled in the history of air war.
