    Dr Sanur Sharma was Associate Fellow at the Strategic Technologies Center, Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses.

    Prior to joining MP-IDSA, she was Assistant Professor at IILM University, Gurgaon, where she taught Artificial Intelligence and Data Mining. She has also worked as Assistant Professor (Visiting) in USMS, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, where she has taught courses on Data Exploration, Data Science and Machine Learning (ML).

    Dr Sharma has a Masters in Technology in Information Security from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, New Delhi. She is a recipient of the gold medal for her M. Tech. Degree programme. She has obtained her PhD in Computer Sciences. She was a recipient of the five-year merit-based fellowship in 2015, Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme, Media Labs Asia, MeitY, Government of India.

    Her current research project at MP-IDSA is Exploiting AI & Data Analytics in Enhancing Battle Effectiveness. Her other research interests are Social Media Analytics & Security, Machine Learning and Cyber Security.

    Her programming expertise is in C, C++, SQL, Oracle, C#, .Net framework, & R and have worked on tools Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems like Radware Defense Pro, Social Media tools like UCI Net, Gephi, and analytics tools like Weka, SPSS, Rapid Miner and R.

    She has published articles in reputed international scientific journals.
