Avit A. Chami was a visiting fellow under the India-Africa Security Fellowship program at MP-IDSA’s ALAC&UN Centre. His research interests include India-Tanzania Relations, African Geopolitics and Non-traditional security issues in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is working with the Mozambique-Tanzania Centre for Foreign Relations, the think tank of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East Africa Cooperation in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
