The BRICS organization forms a powerful platform for international cooperation based on the exchange of shared national interests that continues to endorse the non-Western order, against the existing multilateral financial institutions and underlying traditional Westphalian doctrines. The 15th BRICS Summit was held from 22 to 24 August 2023, at Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa to highlight the BRICS Diplomatic Progress Initiative’s commitment to broadening the diversity of its members.
