The Manohar Parrikar IDSA Scholars visited the National Archives for a half-day training and interaction on accessing national archival records on 15 September 2023. The scholars interacted with Mr Shri Arun Singhal, IAS, Director General of Archives, and were introduced to record management ‘Abhilekh-Patal’, the online portal to access National Archives of India and also visited the archives to see the repository of documents held.

Dr Rasheed spoke on the importance of Vedanta texts, Arthashastra and Nistisara in shaping India's strategic culture.

Research Fellow, Manohar Parrikar Capt (IN) Anurag Bisen was interviewed by the UK-based British-American Security Information Council (BASIC) as part of their ongoing project, ‘Future of Alliance Relationships in the Arctic: Forecasting and Addressing Geopolitical and Strategic Risks 2022-2042’ on 07 Sep 2023. The project aims to forecast emerging risks for Arctic security in relation to geopolitical pressures and strategic competition emerging due to changing alliance relationships in the Arctic region.
