Q. 4579 Maritime Boundary With Sri Lanka

Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:-

(a) whether Sri Lanka has been honouring the conditions stipulated in the agreement concluded in 1974 and 1976 regarding maritime boundary;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) if not the action taken/proposed to be taken in this regard?

(a) to (c) India and Sri Lanka have been honouring the conditions stipulated in the Agreements signed in June 1974 & March 1976 regarding demarcation of the International Maritime Boundary Line.
