    Will the Minister of EXTERNAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:-

    (a) whether the Government has any proposal to set up Dhaka bilateral mission in Assam; and

    (b) if so, the details thereof?
    ANSWER : THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS (SHRIMATI PRENEET KAUR)

    (a) & (b) The proposal for establishing a diplomatic representation of Bangladesh in Assam continues to be under consideration.
