Qualifications
|
Essential
- Graduate from a UGC recognised university with minimum 55% marks.
- Minimum five years’ of experience as stenographer/ Personal Secretary in a reputed firm or govt. office.
- Diploma/ certificate course from a reputed institute on subjects of stenography, shorthand, or related subjects.
Desirable
- Good working knowledge of computer, especially MS word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Hindi / Devanagari Typing
- Good written and verbal communication.

Job Description*

Taking dictation of letters, notes, circulars etc. and transcribing.
Fixing up official engagements, tours (national/international),
EPABX handling,
Ensuring safe custody / disposal of the documents provided by the officer
Maintaining files/ records.

- Copy of education and experience certificates.
- Candidates presently serving with the Government Sector and shortlisted for the interview must provide a ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ from the present employer before/at the time of interview.
- A copy of the Caste Certificate issued by competent authority as stipulated by Government of India in the Central List.
- Certificate of not belonging to 'CREAMY LAYER' signed by a competent authority.
- PWBD Candidates (with benchmark disability not less than 40%) should produce Disability Certificate in the prescribed format from the competent authority as specified in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

General Information
|
- Candidate shall have to pass written and skill test of stenography at a speed of 80 w.p.m. in English shorthand and for the transcription of the same on computer at the rate of 40 w.p.m.
- Shortlisted outstation candidates will be paid AC- III tier rail fare, by the shortest route, only on production of tickets
- The selected candidates will be expected to join as per the date in the offer letter.
- The selected candidate shall be subjected to other rules and regulations as applicable to MP-IDSA Scholars and Staff
- Age and Education qualification will be calculated as on last date of submission of application.
- IN CASE IT IS DETECTED AT ANY STAGE OF RECRUITMENT THAT AN APPLICANT DOES NOT FULFIL THE ELIGIBILITY NORMS AND/ OR THAT HE/ SHE HAS FURNISHED ANY INCORRECT/ FALSE INFORMATION OR HAS SUPPRESSED ANY MATERIAL FACT(S), HIS/ HER CANDIDATURE WILL STAND CANCELLED.
