    Educational Qualifications

    Essential

    • 10+2 / Intermediate with minimum 50% marks.
    • Minimum 03 years  of administrative / similar appointments experience in establishment.
    • Proficiency in computer especially MS Office, Excel and Internet etc.

    Desirable

    • Any course / certification in secretarial practice.
    • Knowledge of shorthand.

    Overall Purpose and Role

    • To assist and ensure efficient functioning of Establishment Section in the Administration.

    Job Description*

    The job profile inter-alia includes:

    • To promulgate Office Orders.
    • To take clearance from concerned Ministry for employees proceeding on duties abroad.
    • Processing of LTC/Leave of employees.
    • Document Verification of employees.
    • To update Services Books.
    • To prepare of Identity Card for all employees and service providers.
    • To assist in conduct of Seminar/Conferences.
    • Typing job given by Assistant Director and Section Officer.
    • To record attendance of employees.
    • Any other task assigned by the Institute.

    • Copy of education and experience certificates.
    • Candidates presently serving with the Government or Private Sector and shortlisted for the interview must provide a ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ from the present employer before/at the time of interview.
    • PWBD Candidates (with benchmark disability not less than 40%) should produce Disability Certificate in the prescribed format from the competent authority as specified in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

    General Information

    • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend written test / interview at MP-IDSA, Delhi
    • Certificates in original are to be produced in support of educational and age eligibility (and category, if applicable) at the time of interview.
    • Education qualification will be calculated as on last date of submission of application.
    • Shortlisted outstation candidates will be paid AC- III tier rail fare on production of tickets, by the shortest route
    • The Institute reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of positions (category wise) as also fill or not to fill any or all the positions advertised, based on the Institute’s requirements.
    • The Institute reserves the right to offer a higher/lower position to a candidate who has been interviewed, based on his /her aptitude and Institute’s requirement, proviso to the required vacancy existing at the Institute (category wise), on the date of interview, and the candidate’s consent.
    • The Institute reserves the right to cancel recruitment at any stage without assigning any reason.
    • The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for written test / interview. Where the number of applications received in response to an advertisement is large and it will not be convenient or possible to called for written test / interview all the candidates, the Institute, at its discretion, may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications / experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement and other academic achievements and feedback on past performance.
    • The Institute reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidate(s) at any stage in the process of selection in case any inadvertent mistake is detected even after issue of appointment letter.
    • The Institute reserves the right to alter/insert any corrections/additions in the advertisement/ website in the event of any typographical error etc. before the last date prescribed for the receipt of applications, for which the candidates are advised to be in the lookout for announcements on the Institute’s website under ‘Join Us’ tab.
    • MP-IDSA reserves the right to relax the prescribed qualifications for candidates found more suitable for the position with relevant experience and expertise in the specified field.
    • The certificates (including those of reserved categories) will be subject to verification/reverification as may be decided by the competent authority, as per prevailing Government guidelines.
    • Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming under the 'Creamy Layer' and/ or if their caste does not find place in the Central List are not entitled to OBC reservation. They should indicate their category as 'General (GEN)’
    • PwD candidates applying against UR vacancies are allowed age relaxation as applicable to UR (PwD) only.
    • In case a candidate joins the Institute accepting the Terms and Conditions contained herein, she/he will be required to give an undertaking in writing that she/he will not apply for any appointment or course, part-time or full-time, without obtaining the written permission from the competent authority of the Institute. Also, while in service of the Institute, she/he will not engage in any trade or business or undertake any other full-time or part- time appointment.
    • The selected candidate shall be subjected to other rules and regulations as applicable to MP-IDSA Scholars and Staff
