Two days after 10 policemen were killed in a landmine blast in West Singhbhum district, the CPI-Maoist cadres on June 12 launched two synchronised attacks in Jharkhand, killing 10 more policemen using landmines and bombs near Bokaro. In a separate attack, an anti-landmine vehicle carrying district police and special auxiliary police personnel from Nawadih police station was blown up by a powerful blast at Sarubera1.
