Series of bomb blasts killed over 30 people in mainly Shia areas of Baghdad and wounded more than 100. The explosions came just days after suicide blasts near foreign embassies in the capital killed more than 40 people. The bombings ended a period of relative calm following the March parliamentary elections.1
