  • The IAEA Director General Mohammed ElBaradei submitted his report on Iran to the IAEA Board of Governors on February 22, positively noting that Iran had provided answers to several unresolved questions. It does note that there were still several sensitive questions relating to the alleged nuclear weapons programme that remain unresolved1.

In other news, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini asserted that Iran had provided the IAEA with data about the new generation of centrifuges at Natanz. He added that all of Iran’s nuclear activities were within the framework of the NPT and the IAEA Safeguards2.
