  • On the bilateral front, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has urged the Saudi and Chinese enterprises to expand cooperation and mutual investment. 1 On the other hand Wen also met his Nepalese counterpart Baburam Bhattarai as well as leaders of Nepalese political parties, exchanging views on development of relations between China and Nepal. 2

    There are reports that special representatives from China and India will be meeting to discuss border issues from January 15 to 17 in India, foreign ministry spokesperson said. 3

    According to reports, President Lee Myung-bak concluded his three day visit to China on January 11 January. 6 Also, China and Uzbekistan have pledged to further bilateral relations and also ties with other central Asian countries. 7
