  • An Indian delegation left for Vienna for the third round of talks on the “agreed text” for an India-specific safeguards agreement with the IAEA on January 21.

India and Pakistan meanwhile exchanged an updated list of their nuclear sites, as mandated under an agreement signed in 1988 on the prohibition of attacks on each other's nuclear installations. The agreement on exchanging details of atomic facilities came into force in 1991 and the first exchange took place on January 1, 19922.
