Reports noted that keeping in view, chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) safety and security of Parliament House Complex (PHC), India’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) under the leadership of Shri M. Shashidhar Reddy, Vice Chairman, NDMA has been CBRN training programmes of Parliament security personnel. Seven training courses had already been conducted so far. The 8th training programme was held in NDMA on October 11-12, 2012. Nearly 400 security personnel have been trained during eight courses. 1
In another development, reports noted that the Suspension of Operations (SoO) Agreement with the National Democratic Front of Bodoland/Progressive (NDFB/P) has been extended for a further period of three months up to 31st December, 2012. Tripartite talks on the demands of NDFB (P) will be continued. 2
