Dr Velpula Ramanujam, was a Research Analyst, at the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (MP- IDSA), New Delhi. His area of research includes India’s foreign, security and economic policies. Focusing on Indo-Pacific and India- ASEAN relations.

He has completed his MPhil from Centre for International Politics, Organization and Disarmament (CIPOD), Jawaharlal Nehru University and his dissertation was on “Rajiv Gandhi’s Summit Diplomacy: A Study of the Beijing Summit, 1988.” He has completed his PhD from the Centre for International Politics, Organization and Disarmament (CIPOD), Jawaharlal Nehru University. His doctoral thesis focused on “Diplomatic Responses to Systemic Change: A Study of India’s Diplomacy towards the United States, 1991-1996”.
