NDC, UAE Delegation Discusses South Asia and Maritime Security in Western Indian Ocean

A 28-member delegation from the National Defence College (NDC) of UAE, led by Brig General Salim S Al Shami visited IDSA for an interaction on November 19, 2015. The topics discussed included the security environment in South Asia, India's Security Relations with UAE and the Middle East and Maritime Security in the Western Indian Ocean.

Deputy Director General, IDSA, Brig Rumel Dahiya (Retd) presided over the interaction. Other IDSA members included Dr Ashok Behuria, Dr PK Pradhan and Cdr Abhijit Singh.
