Kazakh Parliamentary Delegation Briefed on Afghanistan at IDSA

A Kazakh Parliamentary delegation, headed by Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security of Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr Ashimbayev, visited IDSA on May 10, 2013 and were briefed on Afghanistan by the IDSA scholars. The delegation also comprised Ambassador of Kazakhstan in India, HE, Mr Doulat Kuanyshev; President of the Centre of Military-Strategic Studies, Mr Bakytzhan Abdiraiym; Deputy of Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Mr Yertayev Bakhytzhan and Mr Tasbulatov Abai; Chief of Department of International Relations of the Secretariat of Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Mr Kassymbekov Talgat; Protocol Officer, 3 Secretary of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in India, Mr Seitenov Darkhan and the interpreter, Mr Charanjeet Singh.
