According to reports, Air Marshal Rajinder Singh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Headquarters Training Command, said on the Air Force Day (October 8) that Indian Air Force is undergoing massive modernisation with induction of State-of-the-Art Aircraft and weapon systems. Air Marshal Singh while addressing the 80th IAF anniversary celebrations stated, "This evolution in tandem with the professional excellence, has catapulted the IAF to being the very best in the world".1
