A panel discussion on Dr Bharat Karnad's book, ‘Why India is Not a Great Power (Yet),’ was organised at IDSA on May 18, 2016. The panellists included Rear Admiral K Raja Menon (Retd), Distinguished Fellow, IPCS and Honorary Fellow, National Maritime Foundation; Shri Shakti Sinha, Chairman, South Asian Institute for Strategic Affairs; Dr V Siddhartha, Adjunct Faculty, NIAS, Bangalore and Shri Jayant Prasad, Director General, IDSA.

Dr Karnad is a Professor for National Security Studies at Centre for Policy Research.
