New Southern Policy vis-a-vis Asia’s relationship balance

Research Fellow, IDSA, Dr Jagannath Panda’s article on South Korean President Moon Jae-In’s New Southern Policy, titled ‘New Southern Policy vis-a-vis Asia’s relationship balance’ has been published in the Korea Herald on July 09, 2018.

The article argues that if Moon Jae-In’s “New Southern Policy” is to succeed, South Korea needs to overcome the obstacles of Asia's balance of relationships to strengthen its outreach in the region.
