Col DPK Pillay Presents Indian Approach towards Countering Terrorism at Russian Academy of International Law

    Research Fellow, IDSA, Col DPK Pillay made a presentation on the Indian approach towards countering terrorism at the Biennial Martens Reading on Humanitarian Law, organised by the Russian Academy of International Law, St Petersburg, on its 150th Anniversary, on May 30, 2019.

    The co-panelist included Dr Yekaterina Stepanova, Head of Group on Peace and Conflict Studies, IMEMO, Dr Denis Temnikov, Head of Section for Anti-Terrorism and Anti-Extremism Cooperation, Department of New Challenges and Threats, MFA, Dr Andrey Demurenko (COL, Russian Armed Forces, ret), former Chief-of-Staff, Sector Sarajevo, UNPROFOR, and Dr Yelena Suponina, Special Advisor to the Director of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies.
