IDS, Vietnam Delegation Holds Bilateral Dialogue with IDSA

A six-member delegation from the Institute for Defense Strategy (IDS), Vietnam, led by their Director General, Lt Gen Nguyen Dinh Chien, visited IDSA on May 16, 2013, for a Bilateral Dialogue. The focus of the dialogue was on South China Sea and other strategic issues of common concern. Director General, IDSA, Dr Arvind Gupta, presided over the meeting.

IDS is one of the two Vietnamese institutes that has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IDSA. The other institute is the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV).
