Delegation from NIDS, Japan, Visits IDSA

New Delhi: A 17-member delegation from National Institute of Defence Studies (NIDS) Japan, visited IDSA on 03 June 2013. The delegation comprised officers from the three defense services and civil services of Japan and officers from Thailand and Indonesia, attending the course at NIDS. Both sides discussed Sino-Indian, India-ASEAN and East China Sea issues. IDSA and NIDS have a bilateral cooperation agreement and this interaction was conducted under the aegis of this arrangement.
