Director General, IDSA, Ambassador Sujan R. Chinoy, received in his office, Dr. Arndt Michael a German Political Scientist from the University of Freiburg, for an interview on India’s Foreign Policy under Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 25, 2019. Mr Rajorshi Roy, Research Analyst was also present.

A team of Chinese scholars from Beijing University and Shandong University visited IDSA for an interaction on a range of subjects, including India-China Relations, Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and domestic affairs of China, on February 22, 2019.

Assistant Professor at the Faculty of International Relations, Asia University in Tokyo, Dr. Wakana Mukai delivered a talk on ‘Japan's Nuclear Disarmament and Non-proliferation Policy’ at IDSA on February 12, 2019. Dr Mukai offered an understanding on why Japan has long been a strong promoter of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation.
