Background
Sanjeev Gupta is a Research fellow at IDSA’s Strategic Technologies Centre. He has done M Tech in Information Technology from Karnataka University. He has had varied operational and service experience of 28 years in the Army. As Commanding Officer of a unit in High Altitude Area he was responsible for the planning and execution of the Signal Intelligence. At the Integrated Headquarters of MoD (Army) he was associated with a project involving induction of first indigenous Electronic Warfare system in the Army. He has also served with Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. In addition, he has been closely associated with DRDO and DPSU’s for induction of new Electronic Warfare systems in the Army.
