Associate Fellow, IDSA, Ms. Shruti Pandalai participated in a panel discussion on 'The Impact of Social Media on National Security Issues', organised by Tech Against Terrorism, in collaboration with the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT) in Delhi, on November 15, 2019.
The initiative works with the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Executive Directorate (UN CTED) and the GIFCT to support the global tech industry in tackling terrorist use of the internet whilst respecting human rights.
The panel of experts included Dr. Arian Sharifi from Afghanistan, Prof. Ajay Sahni (South Asia Terrorism Portal), Mr. Kabir Taneja and Ms. Kriti Shah, Observer Research Foundation.
