The Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, an autonomous think tank engaged in Defence Security and Foreign Policy studies, supported by the Ministry of Defence, invites applications from qualified persons for the position of Deputy Director General in the scale as per 7th CPC pay matrix: Level 14 (Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200) plus allowances. This is essentially a managerial position. Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications:

“Candidates should have an excellent academic background, preferably with a PhD or a track record of publications, aptitude for policy research and managerial competence to work in a think tank”.
