Application is invited for the post of Research Assistant for a period of one year (extendable, if required) in a project which would require analysis of Bengali language media on a daily basis

Salary and other Emoluments: A fixed remuneration of Rs 50,000 per month (all inclusive)
Working Hours: Full time
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree with a first class in social sciences and allied fields such as public policy, international relations, strategic affairs, development studies.
- Candidates must have fluency in reading and writing of Bengali and English.
Desired Skill-Set:
- Keen interest in analysing current national and international affairs
- Excellent knowledge of Bengali and English language
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to attend to detail
- Work under strict deadlines
- Flair for team work
Job Description: The job profile inter-alia includes:
- Translation and media analysis and assessment.
- Writing event reports of seminars, round tables, seminars, workshops, etc. held at the Institute under the Project
Contract Period: For a fixed term of one year from the date of joining the project and this will not confer any right of permanence.
Age limit: below 35 years as on September 01, 2019
