    Educational Qualifications

    • Commerce Graduate from a UGC recognized university with minimum 50% marks
    • Computer Knowledge of MS- Office, Tally-ERP 9, GST etc.

    Professional Experience

    • A minimum of a five years administrative and account handling experience
    • Good communication skills
    • The selection will be based on a written test in Book Keeping & Accountancy and subsequent interview of successful candidates only.

    Overall Purpose and Role

    • Shall be associated with the accounts wing of the Institute and will support the accounts processes while reporting directly to the Accounts Officer

    Job Description*

    The job profile inter-alia includes:

    • To manage day to day operations of the accounts department
    • To manage accounts payable (bill payments, salaries, petty cash etc.) and receivable through cash /cheque / voucher in a timely manner
    • To establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
    •  To maintain spread sheets for monitoring and analysing accounting data and prepare financial reports
    • Settlement of bills and receipts
    • Supporting the accounts department activities including liaison and visit to banks and other Govt. Offices, as needed.

    • One letter of reference from Supervisor of the previous place of work (with Supervisor’s contact detail and email address).
    • Candidates presently serving with the Government or Private Sector and shortlisted for the interview must provide a ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ from the present employer before/at the time of interview.
    • PWBD Candidates (with benchmark disability not less than 40%) should produce Disability Certificate in the prescribed format from the competent authority as specified in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

    General Information

    • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test at Delhi and will be tested on the basis of their Book Keeping and Accountancy knowledge
    • Shortlisted outstation candidates will be paid AC- III tier rail fare on production of tickets by the shortest route
    • The selected candidates will be expected to join at the earliest
    • The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all the positions advertised or cancel recruitment procedure at any stage without assigning any reason
    • The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for the selection test to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement and other academic achievements
    • The selected candidate shall be subjected to other rules and regulations as applicable to MP-IDSA Scholars and Staff
    • Candidates presently serving with the Government sector or Universities and shortlisted for Interview must provide a ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ from the present employer before/ at the time of Interview
    • Age and Education qualification will be calculated as on last date of submission of application.
