    Salary and Other Emoluments

    • As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level 13 (Rs.1,23,100 – 2,15,900)
    • Other benefits as applicable to the Central Government employees as per the CCS Rules. In case of a pensioner, the pay will be regulated under the provisions of the re-employed pensioners

    On-Campus Accommodation

    • Residential accommodation will be offered and the selected candidate will need to occupy and forfeit the HRA.

    Hours

    0900-1730 (Monday- Friday) and at all times in case of an emergency

    Contractual

    For fixed term of three years including a probationary period of initial one year from the date of joining the Institute. This will not confer any right of permanence

    Age Limit

    Below 55 years

    Educational Qualifications

    The candidate should have the following qualification:

    • Minimum of a Post-Graduation with atleast 60% marks (preferably from Management/ Law background)
    • Proficiency in computers especially M.S. Office and Internet is a must
    • Experience in accounting shall be desired

    Professional Experience

    • Atleast 15 - 20 years of experience in various administrative and management capacities. Retired Armed Forces Officers may also apply.

    Overall Purpose and Role

    • Responsible for policy execution and results
    • Management of principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource positioning, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources
    • Accountable for maintaining positive, proactive relationships with both employees and relevant service providers

    Job Description*

    The job profile inter-alia includes:

    • ADMINISTRATION :
    • Execution of all administrative functioning of the Institute
    • Providing administrative supervision during conferences, seminars etc.
    • Budget management and control
    • Monitoring of service performances including timeliness, accuracy, compliance and satisfaction
    • Synchronising the continual improvement of accounting, administrative and operational processes and policies with  the organization’s mission
    • Facilities management and inventory control
    • Interaction with the Ministries of Defence, External Affairs and Home Affairs for clearances for events held at the Institute and for scholars required to go abroad for participation in Conferences etc.
    • HUMAN RESOURCES :
    • Managing complete recruitment life- cycle of employees and ensure that recruitment process are consistent and streamlined as per Institutes’ policies and directions of the Director General and Deputy Director General
    • Payroll, salary administration and benefit programs
    • Initiating performance appraisal of employees  
    • Effective communication of HR policies and decisions
    • Grievance handling and providing suggestions on relevant matters
    • Managing personnel records and documentation
    • Effectively delegating tasks
    • General work practices and leave procedures
    • Employee relations and engagement activities

    General Information

    • Short listed candidates will be invited to attend interviews at Delhi
    • Outstation candidates will be paid to-and-fro AC- II tier rail fare, on production of tickets, by the shortest route
