Webinar on 30 Years of IPKF Deployment in Sri Lanka Organised

    MP-IDSA organised a Webinar on ‘30 Years Later: Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) 1987-90’ on May 27, 2020, to explore the drivers behind IPKF deployment in Sri Lanka and the lessons from the deployment for India.

    The key speakers included Shri Hardeep S. Puri, hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation; Lieutenant General A.S. Kalkat, SYSM, PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd.); Brigadier N. K. Bahri, VSM (Retd.); Shri Shekhar Gupta, Founder and Editor-in-Chief, The Print; and Shri Nitin Gokhale, Founder, Bharat Shakti.

    Director General, MP-IDSA, Amb. Sujan R. Chinoy chaired the Webinar.
