DG IDSA Interacts with Former Pakistan Ambassador to US, Sherry Rehman

Director General, IDSA, Dr Arvind Gupta attended an interactive session and dinner with Ambassador Sherry Rehman, who was till recently the Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States, on July 30, 2013, at the Terrace Pergola, IIC. The event was organised by the Pakistan Studies Programme, Academy of International Studies (AIS) in collaboration with the Islamabad-based Jinnah Institute (JI) and Melbourne-based Australia-India Institute (AII). The interaction focused on multiple transitions happening in Pakistan and their impact on Pakistan’s security and foreign policy. The changes in Pakistan have opened up opportunities in Indo-Pak relations, which must be utilised before the window closes, it was stated.
