A delegation comprising representatives of Myanmar Political parties, NGOs, and civil societies visited IDSA on January 28, 2012, for an interaction with the institute’s scholars. The current situation in Myanmar was discussed along with Indo-Myanmar relations. Myanmar has shown an increasing desire to learn from the experiences of democratic nations around the world, following the installation of a democratically elected government in the country. The delegation showed keen interest in the working of the Indian Parliament and other democratic institutions.
