  • Reports noted that India hoped to join a $12 billion MedStream project, a multi-purpose offshore pipeline project linking Turkey and Israel for transporting crude oil across the Mediterranean. Russia's state-run gas company Gazprom, Indian Oil Corporation Limited , Italy’s Eni S.p.A., Turkey's Calik Holding A.S., and Royal Dutch Shell were expected to be some of the partners in the project1.
