Reports noted that NATO’s jet fighters were on alert, following the deployment of Russian bombers over the skies of Europe. At the Bodoe airbase on the eastern border of Norway, two F-16s were placed on alert. Norwegian officials stated that there has been no slowdown in the number of Russian bombers spotted1.
