Obama not to cut NASA budget

  • Sen. Barack Obama, speaking in Titusville near the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida stated that NASA’s budget would not be cut if he was elected. He had earlier called for the delay in the Constellation program by five years and the use of up to $5 billion from the NASA budget for education purposes. Obama asserted, “Under his watch, NASA will inspire the world once again and is going to help grow the economy right here in Brevard County1.”
