At the Six-Party Talks held on June 10, the participating nations agreed to speed up delivery of energy aid to North Korea in exchange for a commitment from Pyongyang that it would accelerate its stalled denuclearisation work1. Pyongyang on its part has asked for guaranteed supply of energy aid failing which it warned that progress could not be made on its nuclear disablement programme2.
