Reports noted that three militants were killed in an encounter in North Kashmir town of Sopore. Militants opened fire leading to more retaliation initiating a gun battle. The militants were suspected to be members of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT).1 However, against the killing of these three militants, a complete shutdown was observed in North Kashmir’s Sopore area. Two among the three slain militants hailed from Sopore.2
