  • Boeing bagged a $38 million contract to develop and test a non-lethal, high power microwave (HPM) airborne demonstrator for the US Air Force Research laboratory’s (AFRL) Counter-Electronics High Power Microwave Advanced Missile Project (CHAMP). The CHAPM Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCDT) programme will be the first to demonstrate a counter-electronic HPM aerial demonstrator. The three-year programme includes ground and fight demonstrations that will focus on technology integration and military utility1.
