The UK’s Ministry of Defence has released its first review report The Strategic Review of Reserve, on the performances of the Royal Naval Reserve (RNR), Royal Marines Reserve (RMR), Royal Auxiliary Air Force (RAAF) and Territorial Army (TA). The report has seven recommendations relating to existing and future commitments, expeditionary operations, revamping of the institutional structures, training and organisation of the reserve forces, developing of concise and flexible command and control (C2) capability as well as improved terms of service1.
