IAEA chief Mohamed El-Baradei, on the sidelines of a meeting in Beijing, stressed that the international community's nuclear disagreements with North Korea and Iran can be resolved through dialogue and not confrontation. Mr. El-Baradei also called on Tehran “to reciprocate and stretch your hand" towards the United States and to make use of a "new opportunity right now” to resolve the nuclear issue, which could in turn lead to the overall normalization of relations between Iran and the rest of the international community1.
