US Defense Secretary Robert Gates expressed concerns over Iran’s aerial drone program. He stated that the drones could fall into the hands of terrorists and added that if Iran uses them in Iraq or Afghanistan, it could “pose difficulties” for the US. Reports noted that the drones could carry out “surveillance, detection and even assaults with high precision.”1
