Reports noted that Maldives has been elected as the Vice Chair of the Assembly of International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). 1
According to reports, upon sighting of cases of anthrax in live animals in Tamil Nadu, the Ministry of Health of the Maldivian Government has prescribed a temporary ban on import of all kinds of live animals and meat products from Tamil Nadu to the Maldives. 2
In other developments, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economic Development of Mauritius, Xavier Luc Duval paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed on January 15 at the President’s Office. 3
