Due to North Korea’s deepening economic dependence on its closest ally China, the former’s trade with the latter in 2012 is expected to hit record high. As the monthly trade volume in 2012 seems to reach $400-500 million in 2012, the annual trade is expected to cross the existing record volume of$5.62 billion tallied for 2011. 1
