    According to reports, Chinese President, Hu Jintao has urged to increase the Chinese national power, through the help of sustained scientific innovation. 1

    China has announced that it will give Armenia a grant of 70 million yuan. This will be a part of the economic and technological partnership agreement. 2

    Xi Jinping has announced that the authorities will work towards maintaining the multi-party cooperation system and also support non-communist political parties’ role in the overall political supervision. 3
    Beijing has also asserted strong opposition to the contents of a defence authorization bill approved by the US Congress. 4
    Chinese Vice-Premier, Wang Qishan, met the US President Barack Obama on December 20, 2012. 5
