According to reports, Seoul and Beijing are currently consulting each other their possible course of action to deal with North Korea’s upcoming missile launch, though they have not reached a consensus on that issue yet. While the South advocates further sanction on the North, Chinese stance remains unclear. 1

In another development, during Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari’s recent three-day long visit to South Korea, both him and his South Korean counterpart Lee Myung-bak agreed to cooperate on development projects, including hydropower generation, water resources and railway infrastructure in Pakistan. The two governments also signed an agreement that assures Seoul’s support towards Pakistan’s socio-economic development. 2
