  • Iran’s Chief nuclear negotiator, Saeed Jalili, has stated that “both sides (Iran and 5+1) have agreed that the talks will be about cooperation on common ground.” Jalili statements came after the end of the two-day talks with the representatives of the six major powers in Geneva, which had resumed after a 14-month hiatus. The two sides have also agreed to hold the next round of talks in Istanbul in late January. Jalili also articulated that the next round of negotiations will focus on finding common ground for cooperation, but Iran will not negotiate on its inalienable rights, including uranium enrichment.1
